Did you know that the Wisconsin Downtown Action Council (WDAC) coordinates a series of community visits around the state as a way for community leaders to learn first-hand about other downtown revitalization efforts around the state? The next community visit is coming up on January 30th where interested parties will learn about downtown Waukesha, the economic impacts of the newly completed Fox Riverwalk, the challenges of rehabilitating a historic building into a modern hospitality facility and the economic impact of the arts on the urban environment. More information can be found on the WDAC website (http://www.wisconsindowntown.org). Other related announcements of upcoming programs of interest can be found there as well.
